1:1 Meditation Coaching
Meditation can often feel unattainable for those trying to balance the many requirements of work, family and life. Through 1:1 coaching you'll learn techniques to incorporate meditation into your daily life in order to find stillness, greater connection to those around you, and ultimately your true purpose. Sitting quietly meditating is amazing. But let's be real, how often do we get to sit quietly for 30 minutes twice a day uninterrupted? We don't. We're parents. We're full time workers. We're business owners and sports coaches. We're volunteers. Through my program you will master the tools of a meditation mindset that you can use wherever you are: walking through the airport, at the supermarket, pushing your kids on the swings, etc… Meditation isn't just a sedate activity. Meditation is a lifestyle. Meditation in Motion.
Why 1:1 Coaching?
People come to me 1-on-1 meditation for different reasons but typically with a common theme: they want to reclaim balance in their lives. Many of my clients need help in learning to turn down the "chatter" so they can focus on things that truly matter. Some are seeking guidance and support in developing a regular meditation practice, while others want help identifying and resolving specific challenges they encounter while meditation. Some want assistance in cultivating a more mindful lifestyle over. Some people want to work on coping with a specific issue, like anxiety, depression, or chronic pain. For all of these reasons and more, 1-on-1 meditation and mindfulness coaching with me can be exactly the right thing. I craft individual programs for each person, based on their wants, needs, opportunities, and interest. Together we will develop a strategy for your ongoing mindfulness practice and achieving your goals.
What happens in a session?
Each session is crafted for the individual, but they tend to be composed of several things: guided meditation sessions, questions by me about the details of your practice, and an opportunity for you to ask me questions about your practice. We will identify your main concerns, set goals for working on those concerns, and then provide guidance and support you as practice meditation and mindfulness. I also ask that you keep a journal of your meditation questions, experiences, and reports so that we can review that each week. My focus is on "meditation in motion" which simply put means filling a toolbox with practices that will help you cultivate a meditative lifestyle. All together, this system offers you complete support for your practice. The flexibility and personalization of your sessions means that you will never be just another client, or subjected to copy and past answers or methods. Students have found this way of working to be very beneficial.
